Filiming “Selling New York”

Nearly ten years ago, I was lucky enough to spend quite a bit of time at the clubhouse of The Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx. I was filming an episode of HGTV’S Selling New York. The show’s storyline followed me as I arranged for their annual designer show house to be held in two huge duplexes, each with its own pool, at 50 Riverside Boulevard when it was first on the market. The opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at how each of the world-famous designers transformed their assigned spaces was a once-in-a-lifetime treat.

I filmed many Selling New York episodes over a few seasons for HGTV, but this one was really special. I was able to dig up the episode on YouTube. The video quality (and my hair) isn’t great, but it’s fun to watch. Check it out!
