Famed Screenwriter’s Manhattan Apartment Hits the Market for $2.3 Million

Ann Cutbill Lenane was the listing agent.

Mansion Global reports that the longtime Eldorado home of the late screenwriter David Shaber, who wrote 'The Warriors' and 'Nighthawks' there, is on the market at $2.295 million. Ann Cutbill Lenane of Douglas Elliman, who listed it the previous week, describes the five-room residence: private elevator landing, sunny west-facing living and dining rooms over garden views, and intact Art Deco details. She says the estate of Shaber and his late widow, artist Alice Shaber, is selling.

“Both the living room and the formal dining room have sunny west-facing windows with tranquil garden views”
