Central Park West: one of New York's most sought-after addresses
Ann Cutbill Lenane is quoted as a market expert.
A Financial Times article on Central Park West as a prestige address, even as prices softened in 2017. It leads with a large Dakota apartment priced near $29 million and recounts the landmark's famous residents, then notes that owners in top buildings, including the Dakota and the Eldorado, were cutting prices as Manhattan's median sale price slipped. Ann, the broker on the Dakota unit, explains why the 1884 building became the benchmark for wealthy New Yorkers, and another broker comments on sellers lowering asking prices.
